The Celebrity Five: Read ‘em and Weep

  • August 1st, 2008 10:46 pm

I’m not sure if you familiar of the Celebrity 5 concept.  If you’re a Friends fan, I’m sure you are, but if you’re not (which would be insane), the celebrity 5 is basically the five celebrities that you had a thing for.  Maybe you’d like to do the dirty with them, converse heavily with them, or maybe you just want to hold their hand while drooling over them.  Either way, I’m sure you have a celebrity 5.  Don’t act like you don’t.  Here’s mine:

Wentworth Miller: If the name isn’t gorgeous enough, look at his beautiful face. Just look at it. Ah, it’s magnificent. The Prison Break star is so adorable.  And there’s just something about the name.  If he went by some attrocious name, I’m almost positive his face could carry him beautiful place.

Johnny Knoxville: Sure Johnny Knoxville got famous by doing wild stunts and tricks.  And maybe sometimes he does look as if he might smell.  But he is still beautiful.  And he is still part of my celebrity five. I just admire a guy that will put a steak in his underwear and crawl over an alligator pit, and still manage to be pretty intelligent. and this picture –>  (wow!)

Patrick Dempsey: Oh, Patrick Dempsey.  I loved him even back when he was a fugly teen in ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’. There’s just something about his voice, his candor, and how nice he looks in a white lab coat on Grey’s Anatomy.  My adoration for him grew even more when I started reading articles on how he embraced fatherhood, and saw pictures of him holding his newborn twins.  Patrick Dempsey, *rawr*.

Will Smith: I’ve loved Will Smith since the first episode I watched of Fresh Prince of Bel Air.  He’s another family man.  He looks nice.  Very nice. He seems charming. He’s Will Smith, and he’s on my celebrity 5.

Channing Tatum:

Just let that photo sink in for a while.  He’s Channing Tatum.  He can dance.  He is beautiful. I’m sorry I don’t have gobs of sophisticated things to say about him.  But have you seen this man? Beautiful, I tell you.  Bee-you-tee-full.

And here’s the important part: I need to know your celebrity five.  Come on, you know you want to list them. Don’t act like you don’t have any.  Even just one counts.

I did mine! The laminated list waayyy back in the day. I’d show you, but linking your own post in someone else’s blog is super tacky.

Mine tops were Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Joaquin Phoenix. Touch them and die. I call dibs. I will demand any comments following me that mention them be DELETED!!

dude! that was some nice eye candy!

    1. I was just plurking about my involuntary gasping every time I see Orlando Bloom…no matter who’s in ear-shot.

    2. Mark Wahlburg (breath quickens) seems smart and sexy

    3. Will Smith …love the family man, funny guy, fun dance songs, and all-around good-lookin’ guy

    4. Bridget from Girls Next Door…I sooooo want to be BFFs with her…she seems so sweet and funny and so not like the girls I knew in Jr. & Sr. High, or college for that matter…LOL

    5. Half the Cast of “Ocean’s Eleven” because I’ve been drinking and can’t decide between George Clooney, Brad Pitt, or Matt Damon…or Ben Affleck (by proxy through his BFF Matt).

    Oh dear. I think mine’s embarrassing…

    1. Orlando Bloom. He’s just too gorgeous to leave off the list. Have you SEEN Troy? The scene where it’s all Orly from his head down to just-before-the-jewels. Yes. I love it.

    2. Chris Meloni aka Elliot from Law and Order:SVU. I know he’s old enough to be my dad. I have a problem. But he’s still so hot. That smile – kills me everytime!

    3. Viggo Mortensen. Another man old enough to be my dad. Another man hot enough to not make me care.

4.Um, that guy who played Mr. Darcy in the Kiera Knightly Version of Pride and Prejudice. Or if I could just have Mr. Darcy from that movie.

    5. Christian Bale. I don’t think I need to elaborate.

    =)
    Fun post, thanks!

    You have superb tast, superb!

Me and Wentworth, we are tight… ok well in my dreams! Even if he is possibly gay, I still want to be on him!

    So
    1. Wentworth Miller- It’s his eyes that do it for me!
    2. Justin Timberlake- He’s so damn hot that I will look past the fact that I would be taking Brittany’s sloppy seconds.
    3. Patrick Dempsey- Even though all his lines are scripted I just think everything he says in wonderful, and his voice it is so soothing!
    4. Heath Ledger- So yes, I realize he is dead which does break my heart a little bit less everyday but man was he charming…
    5. Quinton Jackson- Ok so I know it’s weird, he’s a MMA fighter, and he’s all gansta and shit, but he can throw me around anytime he likes! Wow that was corny!

Is it bad that I picked NONE of these guys for the intellect or anything other than sex appeal?

I took a sammich break to tell you that I obviously need to do this list in a more extended format. But if I had to choose a top five, which included ONLY five?

    1. Angelia Jolie. After she’s back to fighting weight. Yes, I said it. She’s crazy (ish), yo. Crazy=fun in the bedroom. And the bathroom, and the living room, and the back yard…
    2. Jared Leto (circa My So Called Life). Layered shirts, a choker, hair long enough to pull. Meow.
    3. Eminem (in 8 Mile and ONLY then). He had me at pinned up against heavy machinery.
    4. Jason Mraz. He sings, he writes, he thinks, he’s a health nut, he’s horny. He’s got it all…
    5. Ed Norton (in American History X). This is the lumpiest I’ve ever wanted to go (all the way with) and then, he cleans up so nice.

    4) Patrick Stewart (Capt. Picard from Star Trek): aw yeah, love the hot grandfather look…
    3) Peter Sarsgaard
    2) David Duchovny
    1) Christopher Meloni: the man who makes me want to do dirty things I’d never even heard of before; as “emily” said above, that smile! that body! those eyes! *drool*

And oh yeah, I’m Jordan! Hi! I’m a pretty new blogger, but I’ve been reading yours for a few months. Colin Firth – will watch him read the telephone book!

Jeffrey Dean Morgan – that smile!

Ewan MacGregor – would not throw him out for the bed for eating crackers! He’s cute but really I’m in love with his singing voice, there’s just something about the tone of it!

HMOG I loooooooove Celebrity Five lists. It’s so interesting to see who other people pick! Here are mine:

1.) Christian Bale. Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Shower scene. ‘American Psycho’. SWOON.

2.) Jason Bateman. I’ve loved you since your days on ‘Silver Spoons’. ‘Arrested Development’ only rekindled my love for you. If you are not available to love me at this time, I would settle for Justine. JUST SAYIN’.

    3.) Liev Schreiber. HAWT.

4.) Christopher Meloni. God almighty. If he’s on your list you need to drop everything you’re doing and get your hands on a copy of ‘OZ’, STAT.

5.) John Krasinski. OK, so he totally breaks my self-imposed rule of being attracted to anyone younger than my brother (Because? Creepy.) But! He only breaks it by a couple of months so GAME ON. He’s so cute and regular-seeming. HEART!

    2. Will Smith
    3. Ian McMahon
    3. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers
