On the brink of rest,
Finally, peace and quiet,
hungry– dumb diet!
It is a new year,
a time for new beginnings,
Whatever, I’m kidding!
Same ol’ me every day,
even in two thousand eight,
at least I’m not late.

hey…good haiku, my little friend! i’m on a stupid diet…all i’ve eaten today are carrot sticks, celery and a big, huge piece of birthday cake…oh snap…i ruined my diet, already!!!!
