Shameless Confessions: Perez Hilton is my Home Page.

Everyday, when I first sit down with my new laptop, I open up my Firefox browser and see Perez Hilton’s lovely face. That’s right: PerezHilton.com is my home page. I’m not scared to admit it.
I secretly revel in the onslaught of celebrity gossip. I love to laugh over funny purchases and the totally f*cked names they choose for their children. I’m just waiting for one of them to be named after a trash receptacle. Though, like most of America, I am more than sick of hearing about Suri Cruise. Suri Cruise this, Suri Cruise that. Suri Cruise is more played out than a lightsaber at a Star Wars convention.
Honestly, I realize that maybe my home page should be something more serious. For the longest time, it was a news site. However, the news site never gave me as much joy as PerezHilton popping up on my screen and schooling me about Hugh Hefner’s recent breakup with his 3 girlfriends from The Girls Next Door. Give me Holly Madison drama over a story discussing a pyramid built out of used Eggo waffles any f*cking day of the week.
Perez was also where I got all my information when I dutifully stalked the downfall and improvements of my other shameless, guilty pleasure, Ms. Britney Spears. (Oh, shut your mouth, you know you’re listening to her on Youtube as we speak.) I read about her shaving her head, locking herself in bathrooms and flashing her Sphynx like vag to half of America. (A sphynx is a hairless cat, if you aren’t in the know.)
So while it may be a tad bit embarrassing to admit that while I wallow in serious Literature and love extensive and deep conversation, Perez makes my morning a better place. Even my husband reads Perez, which he would not admit, but after I caught him using some of Perez’s slang, it wasn’t hard to figure out.
That’s just how it is. I heart Perez Hilton. What’s your home page?

My home page is Google currently. It used to be a news site.
I totally love going to people.com or usmagazine.com and browsing the latest stories. Sometimes I get fed up with it all, stupid celeb stuff, other times I eat it up, loving every delicious minute of it.

I love perez hilton and dlisted; I check them often throughout the day. However, since my laptop is a “work” laptop, and my work is with a school system (which doesn’t allow access to either of the sites mentioned above), then my homepage is http://www.fcps.net. Boo!

Mine too is Igoogle. I use it every day because I am subscribed on my Google Reader to get job postings since I am still looking for work. Also, I have a few blogs I frequent.
My huband reads TheSuperficial.com. I sometimes read it to when I’m bored, or want a great laugh.

Ever since the time my business url lapsed and went down for 4 days before I noticed? My home page is now my own business site. That way if it ever goes down again for any reason I’ll know the day it happens

My home page has been Perez for about 2 years now, well that was until my daughter walked in and booted up to read all about Criss Angles manag et trois(see what 6 years of French’ll getcha) with Howard Stern and Holly M. Then I changed it to some Green Living website.
As for the Britster blow out, I would routinely call my cat to login to Perez for me.

Haha, I’m guilty of browsing celeb gossip sites, too. There’s something intriguing about peeking into other people’s lives – famous or not! My home page is currently Google.
