The Facial Reconstruction of Carl San Diego

A while back, Holly sent me her beloved Carl San Diego. He wanted to explore Kentucky. But on the way, his face fell off. Upon arrival, he decided he wanted a facial reconstruction. He had a really long recovery.
If you are ever looking for drama, Carl is your man.
Here’s Carl before his face fell off:

Carl wanted some hair, bigger eyes, and a funkier smile. So this is what I gave him.
I thought Carl looked very handsome. However, I let him out of the house for a while, and he decided to christen his newfound freedom by getting highlights. Purple highlights.
Doesn’t he look handsome? I thought purple highlights were way better than if he had joined a gang.
After his highlights, he wanted to go to the first ever KFC. So I took him, because I am nice. Also, I am a good host.
Carl wanted his picture taken in front of this sign. He thought he could become Kentucky’s Most Famous Citizen. Sadly, the honor still goes to Colonel Sanders.
Aside from serving as a restaurant, the first KFC is also a mini museum of sorts. The original KFC was right beside the Colonel’s motel. If you’re wondering about the little purple thing by his eye, he claims it is some sort of gang initiation sign.
This is Carl by the Colonel’s kitchen.
If you didn’t know, the Colonel was a bastard. All the locals that knew him always talk about what a big dirty jerk he was. Do not let the grin in the ads fool you.
Since Carl is a super perv, he wanted me to take this picture. He claims it has something to do with sexual preference. But I don’t know?
I had a great time hosting Carl. It was nice to get to reconstruct someone’s face.

My dad was stationed at Ft Knox & peed at a urinal next to The Colonel. He considers that a serious highlight…sadly.
Carl has never looked so good. That little nip/tuck and recovery in KY was just what that perv needed.

I am reading this at work, and when I got to the part with Carl and the “Enter in front” sign, I started laughing out loud. Really loud!! All my co-workers are now giving me strange looks. Ahhh…thanks for the laugh today.

Carl is SO much cooler than Flat Stanley. No offense, Flat Stanley.
I just drove through KY last month. VA to Cincinnati via interstate 64 and the AA highway.
Carl’s facial reconstruction was a total success.
