Here via CommentLuv (the newsletter) and I have to say, I totally agree/understand: my blog readership is mostly my friends and family right now, but in the past, my other blogs have been read mostly by strangers, and there was a safety in that. But you're right: you shouldn't *have* to filter, so don't. That's more or less *why* I ended my other blogs (also because I started them when I was an em0 t33nager with sooooo much AAAANGST) and started my new, more mature (snicker) one using my real name. It’s never once occurred to me to ponder your age. Why do people care? Anyway, I think you’re really brave for putting it all out there in regard to your blog. I’m 40 and I still can’t do it, mainly because of the filter thing. But…I am working really, really hard on learning to just be who I am and to hell with judgments or worrying. It’s a lot harder than it sounds. I should have started that particular endeavor when *I* was 23.
