Crystallized Bullshit & Possums

It snowed here today! 
The first snow of the season. Which would be exciting, but instead of snow it was more like “Crystallized Bullshit“. A term recently coined by Jen. But I have to use it. Because that’s exactly what we got. A snow that started so promising but ended up as crystallized bullshit.
It is no where near enough snow to play in, but just enough to slightly hinder a paranoid driver.
I hope this weather drives the random possums out of my backyard. (I KNOW! I LIVE IN TOWN! WHAT’S GOING ON?)
Seriously though, there are currently four huge possum that have taken up residence in my backyard. They drag their nasty, gruesome looking bodies out from the bushes to feed on my trash. I mean, have you ever actually seen a possum? In order to spare you, I will link a picture.
Nasty, I tell you. I’m not really sure what they’re doing here, but surely, they should be out in the country torturing the trash of the country folk?
In closing, (<–I’ve been writing too many reports) I should report my husband’s latest attempts at comedy.
“I found a perfect song that we should’ve played at our wedding,” he said. I sat there prepared to be romanced by some song he had undoubtedly thought appropriate for the love the we shared.
Then, he hit the play button, and out of the computer blares, “Bubba Shot the JukeBox”. heh…really funny mister, really funny….

You’d think Possums in your backyard would be cool! I’ve never seen them outside of a children’s book…. Take pics?? Sorry they’re so unpleasant for you, though!!

i was really excited to see some snow last night. but, it was very disappointing. i love the snow, and i love winter. i hope it snows this year on christmas, it didn’t last year. let’s pray for snow :). haha.

Possums are so gross. They’re really just oversized rats. Sorry this one’s chosen to live in your backyard….

Your blog is hilarious. I can completely sympathize with the whole song thing. A few years ago on Mother’s Day, my husband told me that he had called in a dedication to me on the radio for Mother’s Day. Well, he did, all right. It was Brad Paisley’s song, “I’m Gonna Miss Her” that talks about the wife leaving if he goes fishing, and he goes fishing anyways. Men think they are so cute, sometimes, don’t they? In reality, they are just horse’s asses! LMAO!
